You and your teen are invited to participate in the 2023-2024 GET READY WITH ME (#GRWM2324) Cohort.
We have discovered that the process of transitioning from high school to post-graduation can be unclear and overwhelming. Since 2018, Above the Limit has hosted the Collegebound 101 Series and helped dozens of families transition from high school to post-graduation (2-yr/ 4-yr college or workforce).
We are accepting 20 students (Juniors & Seniors & Parents) to participate in this year's #GRWM2324 cohort.
These families will have access to:
- assistance with identifying career interests
- assistance with exploring and choosing a post-secondary school
- assistance with choosing a major
- assistance with completing college applications
- assistance with writing & editing college & scholarship essays
- assistance with finding and applying for scholarships
- assistance with scheduling college tours
- assistance with completing FAFSA
- assistance with writing a high school resume
- assistance with understanding your Financial Award Letter
- Financial Literacy Workshop
-Volunteer opportunities
You and your teen will be invited to attend monthly workshops to keep you informed about what steps you should be taking and help you meet important deadlines throughout the school year. You will have access to an Academic Success Coach who will be available to answer your questions, and you will have access to our amazing network of experts who are eager to support you along your journey.
Your teen will also practice Executive Functioning Skills that are essential to success:
- Accountability
- Time management
- Goal Setting
